INDIA'S Song clinched a first career success this afternoon when scoring in a seller at Lingfield.
The Zamindar filly seemed to appreciate the drop back in trip to a mile and two furlongs as she came with a strong late challenge under rider Chris Catlin.
A 7/1 shot, the four-year-old powered home after being given a patient ride and she nailed the favourite Exclusive Waters as the post loomed. The eventual victory margin for trainer David Simcock's charge was half a length.
