SOME Site made the long journey to Hamilton a worthwhile one when getting off the mark in the 1m1f maiden on Wednesday evening.

The daughter of Nayef has improved with each start to date and showed a likeable attitude under Martin Lane.
 

Martin settled Some Site at the rear of the field. She raced a little in snatches but stayed on well to challenge for the lead with a furlong to run.
 

The runner-up Maracuja went down fighting but Some Site was too strong and went on to win by half a length.
