Winners keep flowing for Simcock team
25 November 2014
THE rich vein of form from Trillium Place inmates continued this afternoon as Padlock ran out a convincing winner of a seven-furlong novice stakes at Southwell.
Five of the stable's last eight runners have scored - and two more have finished second!
The two-year-olds have really put their best feet forward in November with Miss Understood, Gleaming Girl, Oracolo and Padlock all scoring in the last week.
Padlock was the latest David Simcock-trained winner, returning at odds of 6/4 under jockey Jim Crowley on the fibresand. He only had to be pushed out to triumph by four lengths.
There has even been a Trillium Place runner under National Hunt Rules with Buckenhill finishing second in a Huntingdon bumper last Saturday.
Busy times, but winning times. Long may it continue through the chill winter months...nothing like a winner to warm the cockles!
