Cashel cashes in again!
04 June 2015
THE Cashel Man made it two wins in eight days as he defied a 6lb penalty to score at Nottingham yesterday.
He built on his convincing Redcar victory with another fine display in the hands of jockey Jim Crowley, who is building up a good rapport with the gelding.
The Mrs Fitri Hay-owned son of High Chaparral is now two wins from five starts after once again showing himself to be a sure stayer.
He took this mile and three-quarters handicap by half a length at odds of 9/4.
Crowley was happy to bide his time on The Cashel Man, who was dropped out for much of the race.
Delivered relatively late, the David Simcock-trained charge came with a thunderous late charge to cash in and give Trillium Place its third winner inside 48 hours.
