Wins for Striding Out, Oracolo

26 June 2015

THE Trillium Place team maintained their fine form with both Striding Out and Oracolo scoring inside the last 24 hours.

Striding Out made the long trip to Hamilton pay off last night when she justified favouritism in a nine-furlong maiden.

The Cape Cross filly had run respectably in a hot Newmarket maiden last month. She built on that in the hands of jockey Joe Fanning to score by three parts of a length.

This afternoon it was the turn of Oracolo to put trainer David Simcock in the winner's enclosure.
He followed up victory in a mile handicap at Doncaster with another course and distance success.
Jockey Jamie Spencer got a good tune out of the 5/2 joint favourite, who powered away to strike by two and a half lengths.
It was the Cape Cross gelding's third win in six career starts.
