Majeed by a nose!

MAJEED got up in the last stride to record his third victory of the year on Friday night at Kempton.

The five-year-old gelding, owned by Khalifa Dasmal, was delivered in the nick of time by jockey Jamie Spencer to take an 11-furlong handicap.

Trainer David Simcock's charge came from last to first in the hands of rider Jamie Spencer to win by a nose.

The 5/1 triumph followed previous successes in 2015 at Kempton and Chelmsford.

It was Majeed's best performance yet, coming off a mark of 90.
