THE winners keep coming for Trillium Place with Fractal the latest to register on the score-sheet, thanks to a Newbury success yesterday.
The High Chaparral gelding, owned by St Albans Bloodstock, made it four wins from 10 starts when taking a mile and a half handicap.
It was the first triumph in a year for the four-year-old who has been running in some hot handicaps this season.
Jockey Jamie Spencer showed all his skills as he settled Fractal, who was enthusiastic in the early exchanges.
The 5/2 shot came to challenge the favourite Memorial Day with two furlongs to go and the duo fought out a gripping battle.
But it was Fractal who forged ahead inside the final furlong, staying on well to score by a length and a quarter.
