Veena maintains hot streak

14 October 2015

VEENA made it four winners from the last seven Trillium Place runners with victory tonight at Kempton.

The Elusive City filly, owned by the Chola Dynasty, landed a six-furlong fillies maiden in the hands of jockey Jamie Spencer.
It was the two-year-old's second career start, having began with a promising sixth-placed effort over a furlong further at the same Surrey venue.
The slight drop back in trip clearly worked the oracle as she showed plenty of speed to deliver a half-length success at odds of 3/1 for trainer David Simcock's team.
