Nokhada success

01 January 2016

THE success of Nokhada was the highlight of a busy Boxing Day for Trillium Place and trainer David Simcock.

There were no less than five runners from the stable at Wolverhampton where Nokhada triumphed in an extended mile nursery.
On what was his second start for the yard, the  9/2 shot landed victory by a mere nose after a nerve-jangling finale.
Jockey Jamie Spencer was all out aboard the Lilibourne Lad colt to repel the late thrust of Lilibourne Prince.
Gorokai wasn't quite so fortunate on the same card, finishing second, beaten half a length.
It was the same result, too, for,  King Of Dreams in December's Jack Hobbs maiden at Wolverhampton.
