Intrude wins at Wolves again
15 February 2016
INTRUDE stormed the party at Wolverhampton this afternoon with his second success at the Midlands track.
The four-year-old gelding struck in an extended nine-furlong handicap, delivering a strong finish for jockey Martin Dwyer.
Trainer David Simcock's charge had been held up before being launched with a strong run from over a furlong out.
The 12/1 shot burst to the front inside the closing strides and had a neck advantage at the line.
It is Intrude's third victory for his owners, Happy Valley Racing and Breeding - and was a career-best performance off a mark of 89.
