Another win for West Coast

WEST Coast Flyer maintained his progressive profile at Kempton yesterday with a third win of the season.

The Cape Cross colt, owned by Ali Saeed, clearly benefitted from the drop back in trip, taking an 11-furlong handicap in good style.
Trainer David Simcock's colt was given a textbook hold-up ride by jockey Andrea Atzeni.
West Coast Flyer was produced in the closing stages, having been switched off in second from last for much of the race.
The Trillium Place 9/2 shot came with a strong late run to lead in the final furlong before staying on well to score by a length and a quarter.
He has now won 50 per cent of his races and hopefully can remain on his upward curve.
