Great Thoughts doubles up

16 August 2016

GREAT Thoughts won for the second time in eight days, taking a mile and a half handicap at Kempton this afternoon.

Carrying a 6lb penalty for victory in a similar race at Wolverhampton, the David Simcock-trained filly made light work of following up for rider Freddie Tylicki.
The 7/2 shot was last of five early on but found herself in front with a quarter of a mile to go after the favourite's challenge was hampered by another in the five-runner field hanging left.
Great Thoughts didn't waste the opportunity sustaining her challenge in strong style to score by three-and-half lengths.
