Flying start to September!

02 September 2016

TRILLIUM Place has taken its fine form from August into September with West Coast Flyer and Soul Silver both triumphing in the last 24 hours.

West Coast Flyer ensured that trainer David Simcock started the month in flying fashion, winning for the fourth time in 2016.
Ali Saeed's son of Cape Cross gave a career best performance to score in a mile-and-six furlong handicap at Chelmsford off a mark of 83.
He followed up victory at Kempton four weeks earlier with success by half a length in the hands of jockey Jamie Spencer.
There was a further win tonight as rider Oisin Murphy booted home Soul Silver in a seven-furlong conditions race for two-year-old fillies.
The daughter of  Dragon Pulse had skipped a couple of lengths clear as she hit the line for her second career success.
In other Trillium Place news, Mystic Dawn and Pellucid were second and third for the Simcock team in a six-furlong Listed race at Salisbury yesterday.

Long may the hot streak continue!
