Light 'Work' of it!
23 October 2016
WORK won for the second time in nine days at Chelmsford, dropping back in trip to score in a mile and three-quarter handicap.
The daughter of Mastercraftsman won for the first time on October 13 at the Essex venue - taking a two-mile handicap.
The slightly lesser distance didn't trouble her at all on her return as she powered away for a two and three-quarter length victory.
Just as a 5/4 favourite should do, she cruised clear for jockey Harry Bentley.
The three-year-old filly, owned by Andrew Whitlock Racing, could even afford to be eased down by Bentley in the closing strides as she continued her successful autumn campaign.
