Stasio wins well

STASIO looks an exciting prospect for the future following his easy win in a mile novice race at Lingfield this afternoon. The son of Street Boss created a good impression when second on his debut at Kempton and he confirmed than today with an authoritative display. Ridden by William Buick, Stasio tracked the leader Bapak Sayang and was always traveling with ease. He quickened up to lead with a furlong to run and ran on strongly to win by two and a quarter lengths. Earlier in the afternoon, Duchess Dora had run a creditable race to be fourth in the Listed Golden Rose Stakes.
