MAGIC APPROACH won her maiden this evening over six furlongs at Wolverhampton under Jamie Spencer.
The three-year-old filly, by Piccolo out of Diane's Choice, was having only her second racecourse visit. From the break Jamie Spencer positioned the David Simcock trained filly in midfield, in touch with the leaders, moving wide off the bend to make their challenge from two furlongs out.
She stayed on well in the last furlong, showing courage between horses, to win by a head for owners The Athens Wood Partnership.
