Tegara triumphs

TEGARA triumphed in the one mile fillies handicap at Lingfield Park this evening under jockey Josephine Gordon.
The four-year-old filly by Hard Spun(USA), out of Damaniyat Girl (USA), was having her first run for trainer David Simcock. 
From the break Tegara was settled in midfield and sat handily as the pace quickened three furlongs out.
As a gap appeared one furlong out, Josephine Gordon prompted Tegara to take her opportunity and the pair quickened again between leaders to head the field, staying on robustly to win by a neck.
