Whispering Warrior lands the odds

WHISPERING Warrior won on his debut for the yard when taking a mile handicap race at Lingfield this afternoon. The son of Oasis Dream had run three times previously but this was a marked step up on his other performances. He tracked the pace in the hands of Jim Crowley before the split opened on the inside. He had to battle to get passed the long-time leader Deffena Art but was a cosy winner at the post, scoring by half a length. The Trillium Place team remain in fine-fettle – today’s victory was the fifth from the last 11 runners.
