Tegara wins Fillies' Handicap

TEGARA won the one mile class four Fillies' Handicap this evening at Kempton Park under jockey Hollie Doyle.
Although keen from the break, Tegara was settled quickly in the back straight and tracked the leaders in close order around the bend.
Approaching the two furlong post the pace quickened and Tegara was guided to the outside and asked for effort. She duly responded, quickening steadily to head the field entering the final furlong and then went on to win comfortably by one and three quarter lengths. 
The four-year-old filly by Hardspun(USA) out of Damaniyat Girl(USA) was scoring her second win from four runs since joining trainer David Simcock's team.
