COOL BREEZE won the five furlong handicap at Great Yarmouth this evening under Jimmy Quinn.
The three-year-old daughter of Dream Ahead (USA), out of Dead Cool (GB), was scoring her first racecourse success for trainer David Simcock and owner Khalifa Dasmal.
From the break Cool Breeze was covered up towards the rear of the field by Jimmy Quinn. As the sprint developed, Cool Breeze was tucked in behind the leaders and moved to challenge with one furlong remaining, taking the lead impressively and going on to win by one and a quarter lengths.
It was a particularly pleasing win for the team at Trillium Place from where Dream Ahead had achieved his successful racing career.
