Soul Silver wins at Newbury

SOUL SILVER stayed on well to win the one mile EBF Breeders' Series Fillies' Handicap on soft ground at Newbury this afternoon.
Jockey Oisin Murphy settled the three-year-old filly behind the leading pair and tracked closely until commencing his challenge two furlongs from home.
Entering the final furlong Soul Silver went into the lead and stayed on well to win by three quarters of a length.
By Dragon Pulse (IRE) out of Free Lance (IRE), Soul Silver was scoring her third racecourse success for owners Qatar Racing Limited and trainer David Simcock.
