First win for Free Forum

FREE FORUM returned to the racecourse this afternoon, following a gelding operation earlier in the year, and triumphed in the one mile and two furlong handicap at Great Yarmouth Racecourse.
Under jockey Silvestre de Sousa, Free Forum was settled in towards the rear of the field and ridden patiently. With two and a half furlongs remaining Free Forum was urged to quicken and then pressed on to take advantage of an opening between leading horses, taking the lead inside the final furlong and going on to win by a length.  
The three-year old, by Holy Roman Emperor (IRE) out of Kentucky Warbler (IRE), is trained by David Simcock for owner Mrs Doreen Tabor.
