Trade Storm and I’m A Dreamer fly flag in Duty Free
26 March 2013
TRILLIUM Place will launch a two-pronged attack on the Group 1 Dubai Duty Free on Saturday with both Trade Storm and I’m A Dreamer among the final declarations.
Trade Storm has flourished in Dubai this winter, winning two of his three starts including a Group 2 last time out.
He could hardly have been more impressive that day and he deserves a step up in class.
David said: We've been absolutely delighted with Trade Storm's campaign in Dubai. He has benefitted from the fast ground.
'We are really excited about Saturday. We are looking at it with an open mind as we still don't know if he is good enough for this level.
'But he will go there in excellent shape and I couldn't be happier with his preparation. He is a big bull of a horse and you would like to think he would improve with age. But fast ground is imperative with him."
Jamie Spencer will be in the saddle again the pair will jump from the widest stall in 14.
I’m A Dreamer will be having her first run of the year but will look to build on an extremely successful 2012 campaign. She gained a first Grade 1 win in the Beverley D at Arlington and also ran well in the Breeders’ Cup. Hayley Turner rides again the she will break from a good stall in two.
David added: "We're really looking forward to running I'm A Dreamer. It's the ideal trip, the ideal ground and she always runs very well fresh. She has won twice first time out and was arguably unlucky not to win or go closer in the Middleton Stakes last year when she was third behind Izzi Top.
'Her preparations couldn't have gone any better and I'm delighted with how she looks and how she's trained. She's got a beautiful draw - we just now need a bit of luck in running. I expect her to run really well.'
