Hugin takes Redcar feature

HUGIN won the feature race on the card at Redcar this afternoon, a class four straight mile qualifier, under jockey Jamie Spencer for owner Steffen Norris and trainer David Simcock.
From the break the three-year-old gelding was settled by Spencer and tracked the leaders until over two furlongs out, then challenged to take the lead over one furlong out and stayed on strongly to win by two lengths. 
Hugin is by Henrythenavigator (USA) out of Silver Star (GB) and was scoring his second success from four starts since joining the Simcock team.
