Lady Of Shalott wins on debut

LADY OF SHALOTT won on debut this afternoon taking the one mile Fillies' Novice Stakes Div II at Great Yarmouth impressively under a hands and heels ride by Jamie Spencer. 

The two-year-old bay filly, by Camelot (GB) out of Silent Act (USA), was given early cover and as the field opened up entering the final two furlongs she was gently encouraged by Jamie Spencer to take her chance, moving impressively to take the lead and going on to win comfortably by two and three-quarters of a length.
Lady Of Shalott is trained by David Simcock for owner Khalifa Dasmal.
