Mr Owen's winning return to Deauville

Mr Owen has won the Prix Luthier (Listed Race) over 1,500 metres today at Deauville under jockey Christophe Soumillon.
Having broken well from the gate the pair sat handily, tracking the leaders throughout. Upon entering the home straight and with 400m remaining they commenced their challenge for the lead, taking the lead entering the final 200 metres and going clear to win comfortably.
Mr Owen, now a five-year-old, is by Invincible Spirit (IRE) out of Mrs Lindsay (USA) and trained by David Simcock for Qatar Racing Ltd.
