Ejtiyah debut winner

EJTIYAH won on debut this afternoon at Chelmsford City under Jamie Spencer, taking the one mile class five Novice Stakes. 
The two-year-old filly broke well from the gate and was settled towards the rear of the five-runner field over the first five furlongs. Entering the home straight, with two furlongs remaining, Spencer asked for effort and Ejtiyah commenced her challenge, taking the lead half a furlong out and staying on to win by half a length.
Ejtiyah, by Frankel out of Darysina, is trained by David Simcock at Trillium Place for Abdullah Saeed Al Naboodah.
