Sarshampla back to winning ways

A very pleasing and professional performance saw Sarshampla win on reappearance today, taking the five furlong Novice Stakes at Newcastle under Andrea Atzeni.
Settled in mid-field from the break, Sarshampla tracked the leaders until making headway to press the leaders over one furlong out, then went on to lead inside the final furlong and win comfortably by one and a half lengths. 
Sarshampla is a three-year-old filly by Elzaam (AUS) out of Red Riddle (IRE) and trained by David Simcock for Sheikh Juma Dalmook Al Maktoum.
