Haynes excels on the ‘Duke’

JOCKEY Alice Haynes timed her run to perfection aboard Gabrial The Duke at Lingfield this afternoon. It was a second win on the bounce for the son of Duke of Marmalade, who opened his account at the same course earlier this month. He was settled at the rear of the field by Haynes, a good move as the field were taken along at a decent tempo by Haverstock. Gabrial The Duke was still full of running rounding for home and the split opened up the inside. He showed a decent turn of speed to hit the front and forge clear, winning by three lengths.
