First win for Amandine

AMANDINE scored her first racecourse victory on Saturday afternoon, taking the seven furlong class five maiden stakes at Leicester racecourse, under a positive ride by Callum Shepherd.

Always prominent throughout, Amandine took the lead over one furlong out and was ridden out to win by a length from the favourite. 
By Shamardal (USA) out of Kissable (IRE), the three-year-old filly is trained by David Simcock for owners Lordship Stud.
