First win for Encryption

21 August 2018

ENCRYPTION made it a quick-fire double for trainer David Simcock by winning the one mile three furlong and 104 yard class five Maiden Handicap at Great Yarmouth Racecourse this afternoon.
Having been placed second last time out, Encryption went one better to score his first racecourse victory.
The three-year-old gelding was held up by Jamie Spencer towards the rear of the field. The pair made headway over two furlongs out and chased the leader over one furlong out,  going on to lead inside the final furlong and held on under pressure to win by a short head.
By High Chaparral (IRE) out of Challow Hills (USA), Encryption is trained by David Simcock for A Olesen.
