Desert Encounter delivers again !

DESERT ENCOUNTER finished impressively to win the August Stakes (Class 1 - Listed) over one mile three and a half furlongs at Windsor this evening.


Under Harry Bentley the six-year-old stable favourite was held up in last place from the off, then made smooth progress from three furlongs out and joined the leaders two furlongs out. He was then shaken up to lead one furlong out and went on to win comfortably by one and three-quarter lengths.
