Early success for Woven

WOVEN secured his first win, on only his second outing, by impressively taking the seven furlong class three novice stakes at York this afternoon, under Jamie Spencer.
Having been settled in rear from the off, Woven made headway over two furlongs out and was ridden and edged left over one furlong out, took the lead inside the final furlong and came under a sustained challenge, but held on robustly to win by a nose. 
A two-year-old colt by Dutch Art (GB) out of Regal Silk (GB), Woven is trained by David Simcock for Never Say Die Partnership.
