Debut victory for Raakib Alhawa

RAAKIB ALHAWA confirmed promise in winning the one mile class two Haynes, Hanson & Clark Conditions Stakes, previously won by the likes of Henbit and Shergar, on debut this afternoon.
In blustery conditions, jockey Andrea Atzeni did well to find cover towards the rear of the seven-runner field and made progress to track the leaders over one furlong out. Raakib Alhawa was then switched left and asked for effort entering the final furlong,  pushed to lead inside the final furlong and ran on well, doing enough to maintain the lead and win by a neck. 
A two-year-old colt, by Kingman (GB) out of Starlet (IRE) (Sea The Stars), Raakib Alhawa is trained by David Simcock for Khalifa Dasmal.
