First win for Nigel Nott

NIGEL NOTT today secured his first victory, on only his second racecourse visit, taking the five furlong Novice Stakes at Chelmsford City under apprentice Dylan Hogan.

Ridden prominently, the four-year-old gelding by Dutch Art GB out of Baileys Jubilee GB,  regained the lead two furlongs out and stayed on strongly to win by three and a quarter lengths.
