Impressive debut win for FIJI

Three-year-old colt FIJI, by Muhaarar GB out of Tropical Paradise IRE, scored an impressive debut victory in the one mile and two furlong Novice Stakes at Lingfield Park this afternoon.

Under Jamie Spencer, FIJI tracked the leaders and made effort to close two furlongs out, was ridden along on outer to lead entering the final furlong, then running on well to win by two and three quarter lengths.
FIJI is trained by David Simcock for Never Say Die Partnership.
