Success for Omnivega

OMNIVEGA showed promise in securing his first racecourse victory this evening, finishing off impressively to win the the one mile and four furlong  Novice Stakes at Kempton Park under Callum Shepherd.

The four-year-old gelding, by Siyouni FR out of Vermentina IRE, was steadied at the start towards the rear of the field. Over two furlongs out he closed and edged out, was ridden to challenge one furlong out and took the lead inside the final furlong, quickening clear to win well by one and three-quarter lengths.

Omnivega is trained by David Simcock for Never Say Die Partnership.
