Sprint win for Kayat

AFTER being placed in each of his three previous starts, KAYAT scored his first career success this evening in winning the five furlong Novice Stakes at Chelmsford under yard apprentice Dylan Hogan.

Kayat broke well and was with the leader throughout, was ridden over one fulong out to lead entering the final furlong, going clear to win by one and a half lengths.

Owned and trained by David Simcock, the three-year-old gelding is by Intrinsic GB out of Red Kyte GB.
