Debut win for Alicestar

ALICESTAR gave a very pleasing performance on debut this afternoon, winning the six furlong Novice Auction Stakes at Great Yarmouth under Tom Marquand.

The two-year-old filly was held up behind the leaders from the off, then pushed along from two furlongs out and made headway over one furlong out, to take the lead inside the final furlong and win by one and a half lengths.
