Luckiness gets off the mark

LUCKINESS scored his first victory this evening, on only his second racecourse visit, taking the six furlong novice stakes at Chelmsford City under Jamie Spencer.
The two-year-old colt chased the leader from the break and pressed from two furlongs out, drifted right over one furlong out, led inside the final half furlong and kept on well to win by three-quarters of a length.By Mehmas IRE out of Ventura Ice IRE, Luckiness is trained by David Simcock for Eric Chen.
