First win for Shining Success

SHINING SUCCESS showed further promise in gaining her first victory, taking a six furlongs Fillies' Novice Stakes, at Chelmsford this afternoon.
Jockey Callum Shepherd settled her at the rear of the field, biding time until switching right and making headway over one furlong out. Shining Success responded, edged left and went second entering the final half furlong, then ran on well to take the lead and win by half a length.By Awtaad IRE out of Pivotal's Princess IRE, Shining Success was having only her third career start and is trained by David Simcock for Abdulla Al Mansoori.
