Morlaix gets off the mark !

STABLE representatives placed first and second in the one mile maiden handicap at Southwell Racecourse this afternoon, with Morlaix and his jockey Kevin Stott taking the honours from Dr Jekyll under George Bass.
Morlaix, a four-year-old gelding by Mayson GB out of Estemaala IRE, stayed on well at the finish to win by two and a quarter lengths and is trained by David Simcock for John Cook and Partner.
