STARCZEWSKI gave a pleasing performance, under a controlled ride by Jamie Spencer, to win the two mile handicap at Kempton Park this afternoon.
The five-year-old gelding was steadied and settled in rear from the off, took closer order from three furlongs out and was switched left and ridden two furlongs out, challenged leaders entering the final furlong and ran on well to win by one and a quarter lengths.By Magician IRE out of Lucifer's Stone USA, Starczewski is trained by David Simcock for Jos and Jane Rodosthenous.
