Heath Rise gets off the mark

IT was pleasing to see Heath Rise gain his first win this evening in taking the one mile and four furlongs handicap at Kempton Park, under William Buick.
The three-year-old gelding was held up towards the rear of the field until making headway over two furlongs out, chased down the leader inside the final furlong and ran on to lead towards the finish, winning by a half of a length.By Gleneagles IRE out of Cubanita GB. Heath Rise is trained by David Simcock for John Cook and Partner.
