Impressive debut win for Light Infantry

LIGHT INFANTRY won impressively on debut in taking the six furlong Novice Stakes at Great Yarmouth this afternoon, under Jamie Spencer.
The two-year-old colt missed the break but was soon settled towards the rear of the field, made smooth headway two furlongs out, was pushed along one furlong out and quickened clear to win by six and a half lengths.By Fast Company IRE out of Lights On Me GB, Light Infantry is trained by David Simcock for Never Say Die Partnership.
