Kiwano wins on debut

KIWANO made an impressive start to his racing career in taking the seven furlong novice stakes at Kempton Park this evening under Jamie Spencer.
Ridden positively and close-up, Kiwano led at a steady pace five furlongs out, was going easily two furlongs out and then pushed along at increased pace over one furlong out, keeping on well to win comfortably by one and a quarter lengths.A two-year-old colt, by Dabirsim FR out of Araca FR, Kiwano is trained by David Simcock for Never Say Die Partnership.
