First win for Scarborough Castle

02 October 2021

SCARBOROUGH CASTLE achieved his first career win in fine style, taking the one mile and one and a half furlong handicap at Wolverhampton this evening, under Louis Steward.
The four-year-old gelding was steadied at the start and held up in rear, was switched right and made headway on the outer over two furlongs out, went second in the final half furlong and ran on well to win by a neck.
By Fastnet Rock AUS out of Charlotte O Fraise IRE, Scarborough Castle is trained by David Simcock for A M Pickering.
