Win for Lower Street

IT was pleasing to see Lower Street get her head in front for the first time this evening after several close efforts, taking the one mile and one and a half furlong fillies' handicap at Wolverhampton under Martin Dwyer.
The three-year-old filly was steadied at the start and held up at the rear of the field, making headway and taking closer order from two furlongs out. She led entering the final half furlong and ran on to win by one and a quarter lengths.By Kingman GB out of Upper Street IRE, Lower Street is trained by David Simcock for owner/breeder Major M G Wyatt.
