LIGHT INFANTRY showed both further progress and promise in winning the seven furlong Horris Hill Stakes Gr3 this afternoon at Newbury under Jamie Spencer.
Now two wins from two runs, the two-year-old colt was held up in rear until pushed along and making headway under three furlongs out, then chased the leaders and led inside the final furlong, keeping on to win by one and a half lengths.By Fast Company IRE out of Lights On Me GB, Light Infantry is trained by David Simcock for Never Say Die Partnership.
