CHING SHIH confirmed debut promise in winning very impressively second time out, taking the one mile fillies' novice stakes at Newbury this afternoon under James Doyle.
The two-year-old filly was settled in midfield and tracked the leaders, made smooth headway to challenge over three furlongs out, led over two furlongs out and went clear to win by four lengths.By Lope De Vega IRE out of Madame Chiang GB, Ching Shih is trained by David Simcock for owner and breeder Miss K Rausing.
